아이를 낳지 못하던 중전 심씨는 무당 홍주가 부리는 마법의 도움을 받아 쌍둥이 남매를 낳는다. 그러나 남매 중 여자아이인 서리는 홍주에게 저주를 받고 중전은 결국 서리를 버린다. 친구 풍연의 아버지에 의해 구출되어 마녀로 성장하며 저주를 풀기 위해 애쓰는 서리. 그러던 어느 날 서리는 의원인 허준을 만나게 되고, 그들은 함께 서리의 저주받은 운명을 바꿀 방법을 찾기 시작한다.
Queen Sim gives birth to a twin boy and girl, Soon Hwae and Seo Ri, with the help of a shaman’s black magic. However, the shaman curses Seo Ri, and the queen abandons the cursed child. Seo Ri is rescued by her best friend’s father, and grows up as a witch with her friend Poong Yeon and her helper by her side. One day, Seo Ri meets the royal physician Heo Jun, and together they seek for a way to lift the evil curse and change Seo Ri’s fate.
